I've been taking Spanish classes at the tuition centre since the end of last year to Feb this year. I can say that it was a good decision. As an adult learner, my teacher Ms Lea, made me feel completely at ease despite me not knowing any Spanish at all. Her teaching style is engaging, patient, and genuinely encouraging. She doesn’t just teach the language; she brings the culture to life through conversations, examples, and little insights that you wouldn’t get from a textbook. I signed up for A-Level Accounting and Economics with ACE at a point where I was honestly feeling quite lost, especially with Accounting. Honestly, the first time I walked into this tuition centre, I thought it would be just another boring tuition, and I thought I would honestly be staring at the clock to go home throughout the class. However, within the first lesson here, I was immediately captivated by the unique approach proposed by tutors here - making the students feel warm and welcomed, rather than shunned and foreign. I was immediately greeted by offers of warm drinks, as well as eloquent advice from my tutor (Shoutout Mr. Huzi!) and honestly it’s genuinely helped me improve as not only a student, but as a person. I’m a Sunway University student in the CIMP program, and honestly, taking tuition for my English subjects has been such a good decision. I started with English for College (ENG4C) last year, and it really helped me improve my writing and confidence. This year I’m doing English for University (ENG4U), and it’s been even better. The best part about these classes is definitely the tutor. Take IB MYP science and mandarin with ACE and its been ok so far, the classes are serious and I'm starting to understand certain areas which I was struggling with.
